Psychedelics Design Launches Podcast Series

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

[London, December 1st, 2023] – Psychedelics Design launches a Podcast featuring pioneers in design and psychedelics.

In this first episode, we are joined by Hector Pottie, Creative Director at the design studio Moving Brands in London. Hector is a dear friend since our joined times at the digital design agency Method who kindly agreed to meet me way out of my comfort zone today on our first episode.

As a Creative Director, Hector has worked in the design and branding industry for over 25 years. He works at the forefront of defining and creating brands through the holistic experiences they create. Hector cares deeply about what we create and believes designers have the ability and responsibility to help change the world for good. Hector worked across many different sectors, with clients including Facebook, Google, HTC, Samsung Galaxy, Tate Modern, The Macallan, Triumph Motorcycles, The Barbican Arts Centre and Ubisoft.

His work has been recognised with numerous awards including Art Directors Club Europe and New York, D&AD and ISTD. He is regularly featured and quoted in the design press. His work has also been shown at the Design Museum, London, as part of 50 years of the British Road Sign exhibition.

We delve into:

  • The prospective impact of design on the burgeoning psychedelic and design industry;

  • The delicate balance between adhering to conventions for practicality and pushing the boundaries to craft distinctive experiences;

  • Inspiration from nature in the design process;

  • A hypothesis surrounding the integration of insights from psychedelic experiences into the creative design process, envisioning products and services in synergy with nature;

  • The authenticity, thoughtfulness, and originality of the design process in a rapidly changing world;

  • And much, much more.
